 Story: Our Red Label Pinot Noir is a great example of how well this grape variety is suited to the cooler Adelaide Hills.

Vintage: 2022 Higher than average rainfall over winter followed by a warm and dry spring resulting in even budburst and a textbook start for the vintage. A cool but relatively dry summer gave us beautiful even ripening conditions. This slow ripening allows great flavour  development and retention of natural acidity

Nose: The Pinot Noir offers an enticing nose with scents of red cherry, rhubarb, raspberry, along with hints of 5 spice, clove, and a touch of cedar. 

Palate: On the palate, you'll encounter bright red fruits, earthy notes, blackberry leaf, strawberry, kirsch cherry, raspberry, and a subtle hint of graphite. The wine's balanced flavors create a captivating and well-rounded tasting experience.  

Food Pairings: Try this wine with a classic duck dish. 

Oak Maturation: 10% new French oak for 10 months.
