2023 Red Label Pinot Noir
Product Details
Red Label
Adelaide Hills
Story: Our Red Label Pi not Noir is a great example of how well this grape variety is suited to the cooler Adelaide Hills.
Vintage: The 2023 vintage was very cool and very even in temperature, so we were able to harvest each variety in its perfect
window of premium ripeness for the intended wine styles. This
was the third cool year in a row and the fruit flavours across the
board were exceptional.
Nose: A beautifully perfumed bouquet of red cherry, raspberry, and rhubarb, intertwined with floral violets and a touch of warm spice. Subtle hints of clove and cedar add depth and intrigue.
Palate: The palate is vibrant and expressive, with layers of bright red fruits, kirsch cherry, and wild strawberry. Earthy undertones and a delicate hint of blackberry leaf bring complexity, while fine tannins and a silky texture lead to a graceful, lingering finish.
Pairing: Pair this Pi not Noir with roast duck served alongside a cherry and thyme jus, complemented by truffle-infused mashed potatoes. Alternatively, enjoy it with wild mushroom risotto, where its bright acidity and earthy notes harmonise beautifully with the dish's rich, savoury flavours.
Cellaring: Drink now or through 2030
